Manasalu Trek
Manaslu is the eighth-highest
mountain in the world at 8,163 metres above sea level. It is in the Mansiri
Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas, in the west-central part of Nepal. The
name Manaslu means "mountain of the spirit" and is derived from the
Sanskrit word manasa, meaning "intellect" or "soul".
This is an ideal trek to enjoy
the beauty of the Himalaya! Epic scenery, tons of waterfalls, snow mountains,
different life style on the lower and higher altitude, this trek also touch the
border of Tibet (China) as well. Trek goes all the way to 16,753ft (5106ft)
called Larkya La pass. It is circuiting Mt. Famous and beautiful mountain, Mt.
Mansalu – one of the top 14, 8000m’s peaks.!
-It is Challenging, and entire trek is possible to depend on locally running
tea house.
DAY 01: KATHMANDU ARRIVAL: Received at the Airport and
transfer to hotel (www.holyhimalaya.com).

DAY 02: Kathmandu easy day- If you wish we will plan a
guided city tour. Visiting Baudhanth Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Hanuman Dhoka
and more…
Trekking Manasalu! You can join only this part as
well.
DAY 03: Kagthmandu –Machhi Khola: 163.28 km –
road/ bus trip… Kathmandu-Machikhola/869m
Sothi
Khola to Maccha Khola (869m), trek about 5 hours. Along
with Budhi Gandaki River. Tropical zone and, a bit humid, villages and farmland,
Basic room with common hot hours, Wi-Fi.
DAY 04: Maccha Khola to Jagat (1340m), Trek about 7hours. Along
with Budhi Gandaki River crossing suspensions Bridge, waterfalls, landslides,
village with their small farm, Tropical and Sub tropical zone, basic room with
hot shower, wifi., shops are available for trekkers and local.
DAY 05: Jagat to Deng (1860m) trek
about 7 hours through one of the biggest villages of Manaslu route call Philim
with view of Siringi/ Chhamar himal (7100m) Tropical zone. villages and farmland,
Basic room with common hot hours, Wi-Fi.
DAY 06: Deng to Namrung (2630m), Trek about 7 hours with
Budhi Gandaki River crossing suspensions Bridge, waterfalls, landslides, apples
farms, Basic room with common hot shower, Wi-Fi. Temperate zone.
DAY 07: Namrung to Lho (3180m) trek about 5 hours, Tibetan
Buddhism, monasteries, Mani walls, Temperate to a sub alpine zone, local apple
farms, apple gardens. View of Manaslu and Naike peak. Basic room with
common hot shower, Wi-Fi.
DAY 08: Lho to Sama (3530m) trek about 4 hours.
Mountain’s view (Manaslu, Naike Peck) Glacier Lake, sub alpine zone, Basic room
with common hot shower, wifi.
DAY 09: Explore Manaslu Base Camp, hike about 8
hours. View of Manaslu, glacier lake, Sama Village, Sub alpine to Alpine
to arctic climate. Close view of Glaciers. Basic room with common hot shower,
Wi-Fi.
DAY 10: Sama to Samdo (3900m) trek
about 4 hours. Mani walls, view of Samdo peak, sub alpine, grazing lands above
the tree line. Basic room with common hot shower, Wi-Fi.
DAY 11: Samdo to Dharmasala (4460m)
trek about 5 hours, alpine zone, high altitude flowers, view of Manaslu, samdo
peak, Alpine zone, Basic rooms / Tent.
DAY 12: Dharmsala-Larke La (5106m for
4hrs) and to Bhimtang (3500m), 4 hrs Trek, walking on moraine, beautiful view
of Himlung Himal and Annapurna (part II), Basic room with common hot shower,
Sub alpine.
DAY 13: Bhimtang to Gowa (2500m) trek
about 6 hours. walking through temperate zone, apple garden, villages and farmland,
basic room with common hot shower.
DAY 14: Gowa to Dharapani to
Kathmandu), trek about 2.5 hours to Dharapni and drive about 10 hours to by
bus/jeep to Kathmandu- Hotel Holy Himalaya
DAY 15: Kathmandu easy day- Hotel
Holy Himalaya.
DAY 16: Fly home…
