Everest Region Trekking
The Everest region of Nepal is one of the best known trekking regions in the world. This is the land of the Sherpa people and the world's great 8,000 meter peaks. Many trekkers walk in from the road head at Jiri, through the lovely rolling hills of the Solu region. Others fly in to the village of Lukla to start their trek. A few days above Lukla, is the entrance to the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park and the town of Namche Bazaar, where most trekkers take a day to acclimatize to the high altitude. From here one may branch towards the village of Thame or continue on to take on of the two main trekking routes, to Gokyo Lake or towards the Everest base camp. Trekking in Everest Region gives you choices of trekking up to Thyangboche Monastery, Gokyo Lake or Everest Base Camp. However, Thame valley, Gokyo Lake and Everest Base camp could be combined to tailor your own trekking ideas.
Trekking up to Thyangboche monastery is the shortest of Everest Trek. The trekking to Gokyo Lake offers closer view of the alpine lakes of Gokyo, Cho You (8,201m) and Everest (8,848m) and Makalu (8,463m) from Gokyo Ri.A trek to the peak of Kala Pattar (18,450 feet) in Everest Base Camp Trek highlights the truly spectacular panorama of Sagamartha (Mt. Everest) and Lhotse (8,383m) and a visit to the base of Mt. Everest.

Langtang Region Trekking
Straight north from Kathmandu is the Langtang region which enjoys snow covered peaks, a mild climate, and friendly hospitable inhabitants which makes it the ideal trek almost year round. The 1,710 SQ km Langtang National Park hosts a variety of natural splendours, from lush valleys alive with languor monkeys to the towering fir and rhododendron forests bursting with spring colour. The 7,246 meter Langtang Lirung to the north, Gang Chhenpo (6,388 meters) to the south and Dorje Lhakpa (6,975 meters) to the east dominates the beautiful Langtang valley. Helambu, the mid elevation region to the Park's south, is a study centre of Tibetan Buddhism. Lama and Tamang people maintain a rich cultural heritage, evident in ornately carved wooden windows, lively dance festivals, and skilled weaving traditions. Trekkers can enjoy these sights on any of the three main trekking routes. Hiking times and overnight stops are planned for a moderate hiking pace, and proper acclimatization to altitude. Treks range in difficulty from moderate to challenging. All trail heads are accessible by bus or private transports from Kathmandu.
